Has Blue Peter dog Petra's 1962 death hexed the BBC?? Nah, it's a coincidence!

London - (Haunted Fish Tank): UK media reports today say that auto-erratic asphyxiation equipment is being probed at the flat of BBC presenter Kristian Digby who died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Monday.

The circumstances of his death have been dubbed 'similar' to those of INXS singer Michael Hutchence and actor David Carradine who indulged in fatal solo suffocation sex games.

The presenter is the latest of a number of BBC personnel deaths which include Natasha Collins, Mark Speight and Christopher Price.

Sources have commented that the ghost of notorious 'fake' Blue Peter dog Petra 'could be responsible' for a death hex at the Corporation.

The Alsatian-cross pup died in unexplained circumstances in December 1962 just two days after her debut on the kids' TV programme.

A subsequent 45 year cover-up eventually broke down when the show's founding producer Biddy Baxter finally admitted a lookalike mutt was hastily shoehorned into the Petra role.

The deception was masterminded by bosses who thought the show would bomb if children found out the grisly truth about the young bitch's sudden demise from distemper.

Valerie Singleton is 109.
