London - (Pink Panther Mess): A Bournemouth cat-burglar and close associate of Clinton-era First Feline Socks has been arrested and charged in the £40 million Mayfair gems heist.
Clinton Mogg, (no kidding!) 42, is in the dock along with Craig Calderwood, 26, and Solomun Beyene, 24, charged with conspiring to get their thieving paws on the Graft jewellers' bling.
Flying Squad detectives pounced on Mogg in a gay bar in Soho after a tip-off from transgender exotic dancer Ms Daisy Catnip.
The suspects are demanding to be tried under compassionate Scottish justice rules in a plea bargain arrangement negotiated by Colonel Ghaddafi's Maine Coon.
