A nurse who had been missing for more than a week, has been found hiding in the boot of a car in Scotland, police have said.
Magdeline Makola, 33, from Livingston, had not been seen since the morning of 15 December when she left work at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
Lothian and Borders Police have said the 33-year-old was discovered giggling in the red-coloured Vauxhall Astra, regstration number CUJ1MM1 in Airdrie at noon on Boxing Day.
The car was found parked in Meadowside Place, Airdrie, an area popular with hide-and-seek players.
Police are appealing for any eyewitnesses who may have seen Miss Makola getting into her hiding place, and are especially interested in speaking to any of the players who were seeking her out.
