Churchill, leader of our independent nation, today told reporters that he promises us a vote on joining the European super state, unless it looks certain that we will all say no.
If things don't look positive, it is speculated that Churchill will have a word with his old mate Adolf and ask him to rename the European Imperial Constitution to European Imperial Treaty, changing the wording in a few small sections, so they can make it look like something completely different, when it isn't.
Then we won't get a vote and will be forced to enter.

One thing Hitler has suggested, in order to make it easier for the UK to join, is devolution. This involves getting all of the kingdoms in the UK all wound up on independence from the British union. Then they'll be easier for the European Empire to gobble them up.
Churchill seems to like this idea. 'Now when the nations of England, Scotland and Wales are finally independent of the United Kingdom restraints, they'll only be gobbled up by a much bigger and more oppressive union, called the European Empire.' he told us. 'I'm certain that they wont be able to fight anyone with any effect on any beaches once they have been well and truly split apart into their weaker components.'
