London - (Afterbirth Mess): The NHS Watchdog is investigating a human birth byproducts scandal involving canny NHS managers whose entrepreneurial spirit was slammed after two tons of human placenta ended up in a dog food cannery.
The arrangement came to light this week after an incinerator broke down at the Royal Freak Hospital in North London.
The facility handles over 500 live births each week plus countless terminations and also-rans.
The birth byproducts were sent to a central London medical storage plant which then rectcled the remains to the Butcher's Gripe canning factory in East London's Canning Town.
The dog food wholesaler's slogan Love at First Bite may now have to be re-evaluated after angry factory workers grassed up their suppliers to the Healthcare Commission.
UK Health Secretary Alan Johnson is barking mad.
