Cardiff City failed to turn up for the FA Cup Final on May 17th.
Cardiff City club secretary Taffy Boyo said "Well I thought someone else had booked the coach for Saturday, we were all up early and waiting outside the club, but no coach arrived. By the time I realised it was getting on for 1 pm and we just couldn't find a single coach in Wales, they had taken all the fans to Wembley.
"The Lads are gutted at missing the final!"
The expectant 70,000 fans watched a hastily arranged match between Wembley Scouts under 11 and Portsmouth.
The Scouts won 7 - 6 after a penalty shoot out, and in an emotional Award Ceremony the FA Cup was handed over by Minor Royal Peter Philips who was forced to cancel his wedding at Windsor Castle following a mix up on dates.
Hello magazine are planning on suing Philips as they had exclusive access to the wedding.
