Flies, famed for their unhygienic habits have turned down a restaurant, claiming it has a 'dark' atmosphere.
The insects, known for their liking of rotting food, meat, corpses, and anything that would give more civilised creatures pause for thought claim that the eaterie in Hackney is by far the worst thing that they have seen.
A spokesman for the repulsive insects told us, 'We are flies, we put up with most things, but this is taking it to far. How are we supposed to vomit on our food before eating it, if we don't feel comfortable in a place? This is the worst place I have eaten in, ask my brethren, and some of these insects have eaten from corpses in the open air'
A spokesman from the Restaurant was not available, but a passer-by said 'All publicity is good publicity. Before, there was nothing to set this place apart, but now it is the place where Flies don't go to eat'
A quick look at their website reveals the witty slogan - No Shit, there really are no flies on us…
