Wholesome and rebranded Mandy will feature with the McCanns and the Olympic Torch as it passes through Brussels

Rothley, Liecs - (Ass Mess): Kate and Gerry McCann are flying to Brussels on Wednesday to lobby the UK EU Commissioner Peter Mandelson after somehow leaving him out of their celeb A-List last summer.

"Mandelson was a bit of a tarnished figure last year," the couple's spokesman Clarence House Mitchell said today.

"Kate and Gerry left him out of their publicity campaign after quite a bit of moaning from their A Team of the Pope, Gorgon Brown, Richard Branson, David Beckham, Dick Cheney, JK Rowling, Easy-Jet Stelios and all those other familiar, wholesome household names," the PR continued.

"They'd were told that Mandy was still just a tad too sleazy after the all that Trash-for-Honors business.

"Luckily last week's completely independent audit chaired by special EU Senior Consultant Tony Blair has totally cleared Mandelson of any negative imagery in the public eye!"

The McCanns's high profile meeting with Mandelson will include TV footage of the warm and wonderful EU Commissioner receiving the Olympic Torch as it passes through Brussels after its hysteric journey via the UK, France, Germany and Holland.
