A 8 month-old baby in Eastbourne said his first word yesterday. Henry Searle, who is being looked after by his grandparents, said "wossname" quite clearly around breakfast time.
His grandmother, June Searle, 75, said "I was in the kitchen making Henry his eggy wossnames when I thought I heard Pop calling me. I went back in the wossname and realised it was Henry calling me a wossname. We were delighted".
Henry is also reported to be able to "whistle like a canary". Mrs Searle told TheSpoof "Henry's been wossname listening to Pop's deaf-aid".
