London - (Rotters): They erected a statue in London's Whitehall to honor World War II hero Field Marshall William Slim who was rewarded for his bravery by being appointed as governor-general of Australia after the war finished.

But today former underprivileged British children who were sent to Australia have branded him as a perverted child molestor whose activities were covered up for over half a century of Ministry of Defence hogwash.

The children, over 100,000 of whom were part of a now discredited plan to populate the Empire with the unwanted orphaned offspring of the working class, have now formed an action group saying that an elite paedophile gang on the MoD has consistently covered up child molesting among its elite for over one hundred and fifty years.

And that Viscount Slim - dubbed Vice Cunt Slam by some of the aggrieved - sat at the top of a pile of military perverts who considered overseas postings connected to children 'just one of the perks of the job.'

The explosive claims have been disputed by the Burma Star Association.

But a number of now relatively elderly men who claim that as nine or ten year old lad they were targetted by Slim for his lust needs have spoken out and their stories are revealed in the UK press this week.

As the evidence against the old diehard warhorse begins to mount a campaign to take down Slim's Whitehall tribute statue is also gathering pace.

"We want the bronze melted down and re-cast into medals for all those who endured the slavery of Slim's abuse during the formative years."
