Britain continues its love fest with Shilpa Shetty. In a desperate bid to prove that we are not all bigoted, racist bullies, plans where unveiled today for a theme park dedicated to the sexy bollywood star and winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2007.
Shettyland will open in September in the northern city of Bradford. The theme park will follow the life of Miss Shetty from birth, through to her film career and right up to her experiences in the Big Brother house.
Highlight of the attraction will be an interactive recreation of the Big Brother house that will allow visitors to experience for themselves what it is like to have racist abuse hurled at you from a virtual Jade Goody.
Managing director of the project, Ranjit Khan said:
"This is going to be a huge draw to the public and a great boost to Bradford. We can't wait for it to open."
The team responsible for the project were very keen to have input from the lady herself. It is understood that Miss Shetty's favourite animals are horses and so it has been decided to have an open area with a small number of Shettyland ponies for children to ride.
The park will be opened by Miss Shetty on September 8th.
