America's president, George W. Bush today admitted to the allegations that he and British Prime Minister, Tony Blair had been having an affair.
Mr Bush had denied the rumours until today, saying they were "ridiculobus" and "wrongy". However at a press conference this afternoon in Washington, Bush admitted that him and Mr Blair had "spent the night" together on numerous occasions within the last six months.
The Prime Minister has not admitted to anything yet, but a statement from No.10 said "Mr Blair has no comment on the issue at this moment in time".
Mrs Bush has said she is deeply hurt and angry about the issue and says "I would have never for a second thought, that George would have done this"
The men's affair has shocked the White House and The House Of Commons, however neither have made any comments so far.
Perhaps Britain's relationship with America is a lot "closer" than one might have originally thought.
