DCP parcels in Warrington have confirmed the dismissal of delivery driver Thomas Tomkins after his his historical grudge campaign on customers he knew.
Thomas Tomkins, a well known town drunk and street fighter, carried out his eleven month careeer in private postal services which ended after hundreds of complaints poured In about his vindictive conduct. Apparently Thomas had been keeping a 'black book' on local folk that had previously crossed his path at some point and used the guise of a delivery driver to get his own back at the 'gits'.
Amongst the complaints against Thomas was a parcel which had been stamped on and squeezed through a letter box, a parcel which had been defecated on, three parcels which had been set alight, a private package from Anne Summers which contents had been scattered over a front lawn, a parcel which had appear to have been driven over, private Supa Snap photos which had been incorrectly delivered to an aggrieved wife, parcels that simply went missing and the delivery of hundreds of parcels to an elderly lady who wasn't expecting any.
DCP parcels say they are unwilling to take legal action against Mr Tomkins as the fear his 'pay-back' could bring about further hate crimes. Most of the public in Warrington who fell victim to his postal onslaught feel the matter has been dealt with and say Mr Tomkins has been punished enough. Mr Tomkins is seeking employment with Royal Mail.
