Upon arriving in London on Tuesday night, President Bush was horrified to discover that he had forgotten his teddy.
His wife Laura usually makes sure teddy is with the President at all times, because he cannot get to sleep without him.
We managed to obtain the following quote from a presidential aide:
"President Bush always takes teddy everywhere. He was beside himself when he found teddy was missing. Fortunately we have now tasked an air force F-16 to fly teddy over from America"
In a recent interview, the President highlighted his unusual dependancy on his teddy:
"Ah sure need mah teddy, he keeps me safe aht night. Those mean old folks from ally keeda can't touch me when ah've got mah teddy"
