A bronze horse sculpted by Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali is expected to go for £400,000 at auction next week.
Featuring in a sale of Impressionist and Modern Art Le cheval à la montre molle - 'The horse with the melted watch' - dates from 1980 and is part of a collection in Switzerland.
The bronze statue is 141cm high, weighs 260kg and needs three people to lift it onto its stand at Bonhams saleroom.
Tuesday's auction will also feature works by Max Ernst, Joan Miró and Marc Chagall.
A Bonhams surrealism expert said: "The mousemat hangs from the window ledge, while my eyebrows burst into flames. It is a cloudy day when donkeys play football on a Persian runner (guide price £250-£350)."
