One Direction have admitted that they see a lot of the aspects of what made the Beatles famous in themselves. Back and to the Left didn't know that the Beatles had 26 different writers on their debut album, but then again we spent a lot of the sixties not existing so we may be mistaken. Liam said.
"Yeah I mean we won like a karaoke contest and that's all the Beatles did in Hamburg wasn't it?"
Although the Beatles had to graft and fight their way to the top of the pile slogging it out over mile after mile of dodgy European roads and One Direction had it all handed to them after styling their fringes in a correct way. Token ethnic (but not too ethnic we cant be scaring little white girls can we Sony?) Zayn said:
"The Beatles had to put in so much hard work and I bet they did things they weren't too happy about doing. I had to touch Simon in the special place during our run on the X-Factor several times, my hand always smelled of desperation afterwards."
At this point two security guards burst into the room and started asking Back and to the Left news all sorts of personal questions like "Were are your press credentials?" and "Why are the band tied up?" After not accepting our perfectly legal creds (from the Newspaper of Big Facts) we bolted for the exit. Not before one record executive pointed out.
"The thing is with the Beatles is that they all had marketability. One Direction? Don't make me laugh. When Harry eventually leaves for his short lived solo career the others wont be able to get on Police Camera Action."
They do have something in common with one of the Beatles though, Ringo, courtesy of the fact none of them can play an instrument.
