Surrey - Police are investigating a 'cruel and unusual website' accused of bullying by a Dorking headmaster disgusted with its 'homophobic, racist and sexist' rants.
Dave Skag, head of Dorking High, said the Little Gossip website was full of hateful stuff posted by private school pupils mocking the state education system.
In particular trollish rants about 'moron dorks' were spreading salacious and unfounded gossip that rubbishes the UK's flagship academy.
"This is cyber-bullying at its very worst," Skag posted on rival website Dotheboys Hall.con under the screen name of Wackford Squeers.
His comments have worried Department for Education top brass as they
prepare to elevate Skag to a knighthood in the New Year Gongs.
"We really must avoid this rather unhelpful cyber war of words," DFE Permanent Secretary Sir Gusset McFreakin said today.
"Bah, humbug!" was the Little Gossip posted reply from an anonymous blogger under the Bollox pen name.
