Its the Grand National tomorrow the worlds greatest steeplechase, over 4.5 miles and 30 fences at Aintree in Liverpool. The course has such famous fences as Bechers Brook, The Chair, The Canal Turn, Valentines Brook, and the Foinavon Fence where there was a major pile up in 1967 which Foinavon was able to avoid and go on and win the race at 100-1.
The greatest of all Grand National horses is of course RED RUM winner of the race 3 times and second twice from 5 attempts.
