US and A - Despite a visible handicap that may have resulted from a pubescent trading-card-induced-repetitive-stress-injury, Fred "Don't Ask" Cleveland outscored his opponent Barry "Dingle" Washington in the Dungeons & Dragons National Championships late Friday evening.
In a surprising start to the competition Cleveland placed almost all of his eggs in one basket with a level-23 and a level-19 Fighter who possessed Cavalier skills, then outscored the opposition 90 to 89 in a bitterly-fought contest. By battle's end both players were sweating profusely from rolling polyhedral dice. Washington, who owned a large group of Wizards, cast quite a few spells but ultimately proved too weak in mêlée combat citing "lack of elbow room".
Although Washington lost the crown, he has indicated that he will "make Cleveland regret the win by separating his head from his body just like in that movie Highlander" if they ever get around to live-action role-playing.
