The Rutgers women's basketball team met with radio talk show host Don Imus about insensitive comments about their team.
We sat and listened to a long in the tooth Don Imus as he taught us all about his life as a racist. Rutgers' coach said "it was fascinating to learn what a racist was and now that I understand it all seems ok" after the meeting Mr. Imus and Rutgers coach went out to a local redneck watering hole and Mr. Imus listened to the Rutgers coach about how she really felt a connection with him and wanted to go out with him and see where it might lead.
The young women on the team then broke into Mr. Imus radio room and took over the mikes and started a Nappy Ho-athon.
We have listened and learned about racism but this Ho-athon is about change and we think we can raise enough money and interest to change the teams nickname to The Rutgers Nappy Headed Ho's.
