Basel, Switzerland - (Ass Mess): World tennis number one seed Roger Federer is a happy man this week.
At a press conference in his home town he was caught on camera grinning from ear to ear as he told fellow compatriots what no other living Swiss has ever managed during their lifetime: "Pay a Swiss franc to lick my backside."
Federer, 25, has just become the first native of his country to be honored through a stamp issue which shows him winning the prestigeous Wimbledon trophy.
"Wow, and to think they could have chosen a picture of a cuckoo clock or maybe even a Gruyere cheese," Federer gushed to reporters.
A recent survey in Geneva ranked him to be even more famous than the Swiss Army knife, the Edelweiss, the secret Swiss bank account and the famous Alpine mountain range.
As he begins his annual prep matches ahead of this year's June tournament in the UK Federer is confident of a fifth consecutive Wimbledon championship.
"Maybe then they'll put me on the country's 1000 franc note!"
