A man from Liverpool, England, has today shockingly admitted to already being bored with the the Nintendo Wii he bought just five days ago. The man, Kevin Skelton, says that he's surprised by the rapid onset of ennui:

"I bought it having seen people like the Redknapps using it on telly and thought 'Well, if they can have fun, I'm going to have fun'. But, you know, as great as it is for like 5 minutes at a time... it soon gets a bit tiresome."

Skelton is entirely alone in having found himself bored of the Wii so quickly. In fact, our research shows that 99.98% of all those who bought the Wii within even the first few months of it arriving in the UK, are still actively using and playing their console at least every 12 minutes.

"It's shocking," said UK Wii spokesperson Geldof Brierley, "Everyone I know continually uses it. I've heard some daft internet rumours about the Wii being gimicky and there not really being that many good games for it... but that's just Microsoft and Sony being miserable sods."

Mr Skelton is currently refusing to talk to any more press, we even had to make up his quote above to ensure that this story had real presence.

If you know anyone who is bored in any way with the Nintendo Wii, please don't hesitate to write in. Think not of the public castigation that will ensue - your thoughts are wrong but we will help you.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
