Loch Ness - An elderly couple taking a holiday in Northern Europe this month are taking home some memories, and a picture of the Loch Ness Monster, affectionately known as "Nessie."
While posing at a scenic area beside the road for picture, Martin Martinez and his wife Marge were surprised to see the looming head of Nessie only a few dozen meters away.
As Martin went to film the creature, he suffered an asthma attack, and had to quickly return to his vehicle to get his inhaler. By the time he'd returned, the creature was only the vague blur you see here.
Marge Martin was able to give us the full story:
"My husband, as he always does, forgot to bring his medication, and like he always does, he had to leave me staring at some prehistoric monster when he goes back to get it. Last month, it was bikers in Florida."
As he began filming the creature's exit, the couple heard a sort of humming sound, faint as though it were traveling over a great expanse of water, and the fabled monster of the loch "shimmered for a minute, and then disappeared."
