Roos like human males can't stand to be without some tail

Kangaroos, thought to be one of the most agile marsupials, have been found to be quite unable to stand without some tail.

Scientists, Drs Budinsky Abbot and Louis Costello at the University of Sidney Fields have been researching the Macropus Rufus for decades now. The fascinating creature can hop up to 40 mph and travel over 40 feet in a single hop. The nocturnal beast can only live about 6 years in the wild but has a life expectancy of 20 years in captivity.

Zoologists Abbot and Costello were recently shocked to discover that the kangaroo was so entirely dependent upon tail to stand up right. A study of roos accidentally deprived of tail showed that the usually upright and resilient marsupials could not stand to be without some tail.

"To our shock and awe we found that the kangaroo, like the human male, cannot stand without some tail. The amount of tail is still in dispute and may differ according to individual roos. But the one thing we are sure of is, deprive a roo of tail and the poor bastard just keels over in a pitiful heap."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
