Mutant sunflower seeds are currently being sold all over the world by people unaware of the horrors they are unleashing on the world.
A Scientists' convention was taking place in the Museum of Greenhouses (the only place they could get), where many scientists were showing off their new inventions.
One man was showing off his 'Mutant Thermometer', designed to detect mutated things, and was holding it over a greenhouse (he was on stilts) when it started beeping wildly.
Close inspection of the inside of the ancient greenhouse found some large seeds covered in a strange green growth.
When the scientists analyzed these seeds, they discovered that should these seeds grow, the result would be massive sunflowers which grow incredibly fast and also had the ability to move around in the soil and also strangle people.
However, some 'scientists' (really robbers who got into white coats and attended the convention in hope of finding something worth stealing) took some seeds to the new 'Cloning Photo Booth', another new invention, took it up to maximum power, and recieved a photo of the seeds, plus forty new lots of fifteen seeds. They did this multiple times before the machine broke down.
The thieves have opened up a warehouse to sell the seeds, and every day more and more people buy them. Two days later, they are usually found dead along with their family in their garden, or gone - they might have managed to escape the sunflowers.
Police have no leads yet, but beg people to not purchase any large seeds covered in green growth, or the results could be disastrous.
However, measures taken by the police do not seem to be helping - they are cutting down all giant flowers they see, only to have to waste time and money on buying more seeds for the poor owner of the ex-plant when it's discovered that the flowers were usually not grown from some of the mutant seeds.
