Mopping at snail pace, notice a snail - What are the chances...

Last song I hear before leaving the house is Call Me Maybe by Carly someone or other (Ok its Jepson - I'm embarrassed I know that, but I'm claiming its research) The song is stuck in my head for THE WHOLE DAY.
And now it's in yours. That is how life works.

There's A Mouse loose Aboot the house. We put down glue traps in kitchen corners. Mouse doesn't fall for (into) them. Not seen for one week. Then he turns up in the front room, running from one corner to another.

Just finished mopping the floor (it needed it badly) and only after I finish I notice a snail on the mop. How long has that been there?

The tray that I bought from the pound shop about six weeks ago collapses as I am carrying it out to the kitchen. That's cost me. A pound. To be exact.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
