Sky TV have announced that yet another new channel will be launched in the coming weeks.

Literal TV will be available for all subscribers from April 20th onwards.

Sky TV's Head of Programmes Lionel Beveridge gave more details in a statement yesterday:

"We at Sky TV are delighted to announce a new channel that we are confident will be a valuable addition to the existing viewing experience.

Literal TV is just what it says on the tin - the channel will feature programmes that are about exactly what you would take from the title.

No more, no less".

Some of the first programmes to be shown include :

The Big Squeeze - A week In The Life of Katie Price

Flog It - The Pros And Cons of Flagellation

Holmes Under The Hammer - Pro Celebrity Wrestling featuring
Sky Broadcaster v Avram Grant

The Bill - Independent Financial Advice

Britain By Bike - Ravers Version of Loose Women

Thirty Something - The Crisis in Maths Teaching

Nothing To Declare - Party Political Broadcast
