When Penelope went to the Football match to see her beau Terence play, in order to shout 'Terry is a wanker' for all to hear, she was disappointed.
Terence wasn't playing.
When she got home her mother was in a flustered state.
'Sebastien's got a terrible black eye. He won't talk about it.'
'Oh.'
'Your friend Barbarella called and wanted a word with you'.
'Oh'.
Penelope had a creepy feeling about the situation. She raced to see Barbarella.
'There was this terrible fight between your brother and Terence Stamp. I think Sebastien won because Terence had a broken nose and a split lip and he was walking in an odd way. He had go to A & E at the Hospital. I think your brother is so brave.'
'What was the fight all about'? Penelope asked with supposed innocence.
'You, stupid! Terence accused Sebastien of sneaking to you about that boast about almost scoring a goal against you'.
'That's not fair. I never told Terence that I heard about it from my brother. He was guessing.'
'And I reckon he guessed right.'
'Could be'.
'What do you mean - Could be. What a fight they had. Blood everywhere, they are both in real trouble. They are both to see the Head tomorrow.'
'I feel so guilty. What can I do?' asked a pale Penelope.
'You need to talk to someone.'
So Penelope did. She told her art teacher Bert.
'Leave it with me' he said.
Penelope had to have a word with Sebastien to sympathise and tell him Barbarella thought he was brave.
'Don't worry' he assured her proudly 'I won the fight. He's not as good at boxing as he is at football.'
Sebastien and Terence were both suspended for a week.
'How is Terence now?' Penelope asked his brother.
'What do you care? Have I had this fight for nothing?'
'It wasn't for nothing, Sebastien. You have won the admiration of all the girls, one in particular.'
