Mandy Smith, Bill Wyman's ex-wife has called for sexual consent age to be raised. She says this is because SHE wasn't ready for an adult relationhip with the 'Rolling Stones rocker' when she was aged 13.
DUH! give me a break. At 13 I was still playing with my dolls. Some of the girls I went to school with WERE having sex at 14, 15 etc.

Where the hell were Mandy's parents or guardians when she was only 13? What was on THEIR minds? Bill was obviously on Mandy's mind.
Is she trying to tell us that IF the age for sexual consent was raised - say to 21 - then SHE wouldn't have slept with 'old' Bill until she was 21? She has actually suggested raising the age from 16 to 18.
For crying out loud, she is now thinking with the mind of a mature woman. How many 'lust-crazed' teenagers give a thought to what damage they may be doing to themselves, physically and emotionally when they start to become sexually active? Dare I say NONE
They are living for the moment.....just as Mandy was many years ago. They don't think with their 'brains'.
I believe SOME teenagers can commit to a long term relationship at an early age. It depends on the individuals.
If she feels like she made a huge mistake then she has to live with it like thousands or millions of others.
She's not saying anything that hasn't been said many, many times before.
