Illegal Entry

Funny story written by walter

A miracle is said to be an event that scientifically contradicts the laws of nature: Buddha's walking on water, Jesus raising the dead etc. Other miracles might be: escaping a life threatening situation or 'beating the odds'.

Those who are familiar with 'electronic crimes' know that, as of 1970's, several books have been published covering various areas such as 'illegal entry' or 'wiretapping'. In the same years, there was a handy device called 'Autopic' which could open most of the locks of the world. It could be bought for only $28. Another device was/is 'infinity transmitter' costing $1000; today, $175. This device can be hooked up to a telephone line and then, after dialing a number, without ringing, one could/can listen in ambush to any conversation taking place between the other two phones.

However, a recent event prompted me to come up with this post. Maybe it has got nothing to do with electronic espionage. However, here is what happened:

Naturally, we all keep several clocks and watches around the house, and twice a year we are required to put the clock forward or back. Definitely, we all need an alarm to get up on time. As a matter of fact, since it was holyday, I had in mind to set the clock after getting up. But it went off one hour, daylight saving time, earlier!

First I thought I had imagined hearing the alarm, but as the alarm was still on, I approached the phone which was sounding the false alarm. After checking the time, I was shocked to see that the time was changed to new daylight saving time. I am still baffled and don't know how to interpret it. Wonder if there is a new 'infinity transmitter' that can alter the time set of our telephones.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
