Karl Marx was right, it seems. Eventually the human race would reach the inevitable conclusion that cooperation and not competition would bring about the greatest benefits for the greatest number of banks and financial sideshows. Of course the PBS Children's perenial hit show had been trying to teach us that for generations.
The part Marx got wrong was his prediction that the dictatorship of the proletariat would come from the urban workers' outrage at her oppression at the hands of the capitalist. The failed marxist experiments of the 20th century happened in agrarian societies like Russia, Cuba and China. The new socialism that is sweeping the globe has been fueled ironically by the very basnkers and brokers who hated Marx.
The new socialist experiment is derived from the humiliation of greedy capitalists who are begging big government to save it from itself so the betryed middle class will not impale them on the pitchforks of loss of consumer confidence.
