Was IRAq Puppet Prime Monster Newry Al Malarkey chosen by the Bush Administration on the strength of his name alone?

That is the question troubling UN Security Council ministers this week after classified 1998 Good Friday Agreement documents were handed over.

These recommended the Provisional IRAqi premier for fast-tacking into high pubic orifice 'in the event of Saddam's sudden, inexplicable and terminal demise'.

"We like this chap Malarkey," Gen Colon Bowel and Dickless Cheney wrote in the '98 Agreement appendix.

"Just look what his Arabic name really means:

Malarkey: balderdash, bollox, baloney, blather, bunkum, hokum, bilge, crap, claptrap, codswallop, drivel, gibberish, garbage, idiocy, mumbo-jumbo, nonsense, knickers, piffle, piddle, poopscoop, prattle, poppycock, rigmarole, rollox, rubbish, stuff-and-nonsense, tomfoolery, tommyrot, trash, twaddle, pants."

The Newry part is a bit of a mystery until a Gaelic dictionary definition is consulted, giving the meaning of A Town named after The Yew Tree at the Head of the Strand plagued by The Troubles'....

"It all makes sense now with hindsight," the UN Sec Gen nodded sagely today.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
