When I looked into my crystal ball to see the future, I saw a 25th century Ark.

Global Warming had melted the polar icecaps and all icebergs had long since found their way into water.

The Ark unlike the bark from the ancient myths was real this time and a true technological wonder. Instead of the two X two pairings of every creature on earth, the Noah II carried the genetic code of all living things past and present.

Powered by near inexhaustible fuel cells the ocean liner, size of ten city blocks had resources to last a century and carry life's treasure through to the next epoch. In fact, my vision seemed to come from the very end of the journey and I saw the Captain of the Noah II, release a black crow to seek dry land.

Day after day, night by night I watched the brave Captain scan the horizon for any sign of the ebony bird. Finally the fatigued bird appeared one morning in the dawn light. It barely had the strength to make it back to the craft.

When it did, the Captain spied a small object locked in the beak of the spent creature. The artifact was rushed to the on-board laboratory and analyzed for hours. The anxious crew and its expectant captain awaited the results.

At last, the chief scientist emerged from his lab and announced the true nature of what the feathered messenger had retrieved from the deluge. The small vestige was from the 21st century and genetic studies reported that this minuscule mass of human tissue was the fully intact brain of the evil twins known as Bushlair.

The sobered Captain held the infinitesimal brain between his his thumb and his index finger, shaking his troubled head: "Now I begin to understand 21st century world history..."

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
