Former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney is to marry for a third time, according to sources.
Sir Paul will apparently wed New York millionaire businesswoman Nancy Shevell, of New York, who he met in The Hamptons.
On Long Island.
McCartney's first marriage was to American heiress Linda Eastman, who sadly passed away, and his second was to screeching madwoman Heather Mills, which ended in an acrimonious divorce.
The announcement was greeted with some stoicism by fans in Sir Paul's home town of Liverpool.
One citizen told reporters:
"I wish the bloke well. His first wife was a nice person, but she didn't eat enough pies or pork sausages, and the second one seemed to be a right nutter. I was made up when he told her to hop it. Let's hope it's third time lucky for Sir Paul."
Rumours that the happy couple will honeymoon in a yellow submarine have yet to be confirmed.
