Following numerous iPod repair claims at thousands of Apple retail locations, reportedly created by trying to force the reverse playing of the Beatles White Album, Apple has just announced an App that will play the famous track backwards to reveal the ruse of Paul's death.
Beatles App creator, Terry Clothragg tells reporters, "It was like, BAM, Steve Jobs popped into my little cubicle and said, like, Dude, we need an App that plays the Beatles White Album backwards, and we need it like, yesterday. So I like said, 'You're the boss', and I cranked it out in about 7 hours". Reporters were looking for anyone else they could possible ask questions, but Clothragg was the only victim send to the press conference.
"It was hard too. The normal player interprets the data in a streaming mode, which means it isn't designed to be converted into sound waves in reverse. I had to write a buffering program that consumes the digital data in total, then a reader that runs backwards against the buffered file. It was pretty cool actually."
There were no reporters left at the news conference at this point, but iTunes quickly dispensed the App for free to anyone who had purchased any of the new Beatles collection. Users can now try to discern the cryptic messages on the White Album in reverse play. Best attempted, according to Clothragg, after a Lewd and a few shots of tequila.
