The last couple of weeks have seen Joe Perry and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith smacking each other around, the latest smack by Joe at Steven sent Steven into the crowd. A year earlier, the same kind of unnecessary roughness sent Steven Perry to the hospital with a broken shoulder.

But don't fret fans. It's all for show. It appears that Aerosmith's draw has waned over the past year due to the fact that the band members are slowing down and the music is just not at the same level as it was say thirty years ago.

Said Perry, "Our manager came up with this cockamamie scheme last year that I would 'accidentally' tip Steven into the crowd; but it went horribly wrong and instead of catching Steven, the crowd just let him fall to the concrete and he broke his shoulder. We figured we better not try that again. But times are lean and we needed something to jazz up the act and again our manager told us that when we seem to smack each other around is when the buzz happens, so we're giving it another go. Thank God this time when I threw Steve off the stage, the crowd was lucid enough to catch him."

The band is expected to up the ante with more than just pushes and shoves. Word on the street is they are not only going to throw a few pies in the face, but you can also expect to see Steven twisting Joe's nose with a pair of pliers and Joe bonking Steven on the toe with a giant mallet.

Manager, Curly Shemp is said to be delighted that the boys are all on board for this latest round of shenanigans on stage. "It's the Three Stooges meets Rock 'n Roll," said Shemp. "Who else but maybe Madonna could pull off such a show?"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
