It was an eventful night, even by the bizarre standards of George Michael, as he crashed his car and got arrested for indecent behaviour in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to an incident at Hampstead, North London following reports of a vehicle being smashed into a shop.
Initially suspecting a 'ram-raiding' incident, police units were deployed to secure the area. In reality, ram-raiding was always an unlikely motive as the shop in question was a branch of 'Snappy Snaps' which provides photo-printing and developing services.
When police opened the door of the Range Rover they discovered the driver of the vehicle, George Michael still inside in the driver's seat, with his trousers and underpants around his ankles. Even more bizarrely, gay-activist and dwarf, Lou Sarse, was wedged in the driver's footwell.
George Michael (47), explained that his trousers and underpants had simply fallen down as he was driving down the High Street. Lou had simply tried to help get them back up before they got caught around the pedals and caused an accident, but didn't get there in time.
