It was a sight to behold Tuesday night when a group calling itself Fighting Gravity took the stage first thing and gave a show worthy of Vegas right off the bat.
Said Piers Morgan, "I just love your green balls. How do you get them to separate and float like that?"
Although the group wouldn't give up its secret, when the lights came on, it was clear that the secret to this group was to have lots of men behind the blue men with lots of green fluorescent balls.
"Without our green glowing balls," said the lead blue man, "we're really just another Blue Man wannabe group. But with our green glowing balls going in every direction while we seem to be floating on air, well, that's the draw. We knew our green glowing balls would do the trick."
Howie Mandell was blown away by the group. "I definitely want to see more of you, and of course what you can do next with those balls. It was amazing."
The lead man answered by saying that Fighting Gravity definitely had lots more routines involving their green balls, but this was a family show. "Just wait till we get to Vegas," he said, "you think green glowing balls are nifty, just wait till you see our orange glow sticks act."
