Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife, Beth, killed two birds with one stone, actually three birds with one stone, on Monday when they captured Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi for failure to appear on a warrant and jumping bail. The Quaids were accompanied by their attorney, Robert Sanger, and Dog in a California courtroom whereupon the Judge ordered them jailed.
"The third bird is obvious," claims Beth Dog. Not only do we get the reward money for bringing in these two fugitives, but we also filmed the entire arrest, allowing us to show it on an upcoming season of Bounty Hunter. This was definitely a triple score."
Dog was less boastful, as he felt sorry for Quaid. "I really like the dude, you know? His portrayal of Cousin Eddie in the Lampoon Vacation movies was damned near genius. He had me rolling on the floor laughing out loud. But I gots to do my job, Kimosabe, and that means bringing in the hunted. Too bad this isn't all just a bad movie plot and once the filming is over, we all get to go home instead of some of us ending up in jail," Dog lamented.
When asked for a comment as to his arrest by Dog, Quaid had only this to say, "yeah, I get it, he likes my acting skills. Big freakin' deal. Tell him to go down to Blockbuster and rent the friggin' movies instead of pestering me to re-inact his favorite parts for him every time he gets me into the back of his SUV."
