LONDON - The odds-on-favorite did not win this year's edition of Strictly Come Dancing. A disappointed Ricky Whittle said backstage that he wishes more people would have voted for him but he understands that a lot of them were out doing some Christmas shopping.
This years winner of the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy was Chris Hollins the 38-year-old Christopher Brady of The Brady Bunch lookalike.
Hollins said that he could not believe he won because everyone except for his mom said that Ricky Whittle was going to win it.
Chris and his dance partner Ola Jordan, 27, received five perfect tens from the judges.
Len Goodman said that he had never seen a couple perform a more erotic number than they had done with the one possible exception of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.
Bruno Tonoli said that he could not believe the sensuality of their dance number especially when Chris was lying on the floor and Ola was straddling him and rubbing up and down as if they were a pair of gazelles mating in the Serengeti of Tanzania.
Alesha Dixon asked Ola if during the number she was having hot flashes. Ola blushed and nodded that she was.
Craig Revel Harwood, about whom Sir Elton John recently said in an interview with the BBC, has a very nice looking pair of maracas (?) chimed in and said that Chris and Ola were acting nastier than even Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder Civil ever have.
New judge Darcey Bussell replied that she was going to have to agree with Bruno and Craig.
Right away Len jumped in and told Darcey that she was the new kid on the block and she was really not entitled to be making those kinds of remarks.
She commented that Bruno and Craig had made them. And Len said that is because they are well-respected judges, who have been here a long time, and they have earned the right to make those kinds of statements.
Darcey replied that she did not think that it was fair. Len told her that she could either accept it or else she could simply get her ass out of Dodge.

Chris was asked what he plans on doing with the £1 million and he thought for a moment and then said that he definitely wants to get him a girlfriend who can do exactly what Ola had just done while he was laying on the dance floor.
In related news. The rumors that are circulating around London's Soho area about this being Len Goodman's last year as a judge on the show are false. Goodman, who will turn 95 in April said that he has just signed a 5 year contract entension.
