Actress Meredith Baxter, known for her outrageous roles on television and in the movies, has admitted in an interview on NBC's "Today" show that she is a 'You Know What".
"I know I was pretty wild playing that role on "Bridget Loves Bernie" with my former husband, David Birney -who came up with the role, "Bernie" -but I figured time would erase a lot of those wild days and all the tabloid stuff", Meredith told her host, Al Roker, who quietly shook his head, a little shock still registering and his cheeks aflame. (Hemorrhoids kept him squirming throughout the interview it was later discovered, but that's in tomorrow's report.)
"Then I married a couple more times and I know what was said about me in each case", stated Baxter.
She also stated that she has finally lived down her role on that other controversial series, "Family Ties".
She then quickly went on and told about her five kids in a whisper and which husband was the daddy of each, although there were several commercial breaks all during that part. Whether it was due to the controversial subject or the hemorrhoids, we haven't yet found out.
Baxter finally stated that she was extremely happy for a couple hours a day and that her family was supportive "although they whisper and nod a lot".
"I'm just glad to get it all in the open about the, you know, "You Know What".
