Demi Moore is expecting twins John and Edward Grimes to make it through to the next round of the X Factor, she confirmed this morning. Demi and her husband Ashton Kutcher have been following the story on youtube.
"People are voting for them just to wind Simon up" she added. "They don't realise all the money goes straight into Simon's pockets anyway". Cowell's press office denied the twins' popularity was down to repeated voting by underage girls using their parents's phones without permission.
Meanwhile, Beijing has played down reports that it has taken out a fatwa on the twins after they offended the Chinese ambassador by dancing round in their underpants opposite her window.
"We have nothing to say" said a spokesman speaking for the Embassy. He added darkly: "Jedward can do what they like in Hampstead but they'd better not try showing their faces in Tiananmen Square."
