Last year's Turkish representative, Belgian born Hadise, has been asked to represent the UK for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010. Hadise came 4th with her song Düm Tek Tek at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009.
Hadise's vocal talent was first noticed when she took part in the Flemish version of Pop Idol, back in 2003. Although she did not win the competition, she was offered a record deal and released several singles and albums.
TMF, one of leading music networks in the Benelux, awarded Hadise with several awards in 2005, 2006, 2007 ánd 2008.
If Hadise accepts the offer she will be the first Turkish/Belgian singer to represent the UK.
Hadise was asked by a fan if she will represent the UK and she said she will consider it if she gets signed, so anything could change in a few mins, days, weeks and months.
Like anyone really cares.
