It appears that Ashlee Simpson , 24, and Pete Wentz ,29, have split up, after Ashlee gave birth to son Bronx Mowgli Wentz last year in November.
When Ashlee was asked about it, she said that "things really weren't working out. We were fighting a lot, and other things I don't want to say. Bronx Mowgli's fine, he'll stay with me."
Simpson's sister , Jessica , was asked about it in an interview. "Ashlee and Pete did break up , yes," says Jessica,"Ashlee's actually lying to you. She broke up with him only because he was going out late at night. She found out that was because he was cheating on her with Haylie Duff!"
When Wentz was asked about this, he said "Ashlee's not for me. I can't believe it took me that long! Haylie's way better! I know about Bronx, he'll stay with Ashlee."
A rep for Duff says that "she's happy with Pete. She knows about Bronx, too. Although, she's not planning on having kids for a while."
Well, we'll see what happens with this Wentz-Simpson-Duff triangle!
