This bunny, like every other bunny, looks up to Bugs. "We all love him."

San Fernando Valley, CA- Bugs Bunny, beloved cartoon character and arguably the most famous 'toon ever has said something he's wanted to say for a long, long time.

He likes, no, he loves dressing as the Girl Bunny.

The Girl Bunny was one of Bugs Bunny's most famous bits. Whenever Elmer Fudd or Yosemite Sam would chase him, Bugs would sometimes do a "quick change" into a skirt, a snug sweater, pumps and a blond wig.

He would parade himself in front of whomever was after him. It was a ruse Elmer and Yosemite always fell for, with hilarious consequences.

At a press confrence earlier today in front of his modest rabbit hole he told his story about the secret he's held inside for decades.

"There's something I've wanted to say and until recently I haven't had the courage to say it. It was only when I converted to Scientology that I realized I had nothing to be ashamed of. I liked dressing up like the Girl Bunny. I still like it and I still do it."

Bugs went on to say that the way the Girl Bunny bit got started was when Porkie Pig walked in on him in drag.

"I had to think fast. Porkie and the rest of the Looney Tunes were really conservative back in the day and when he saw me dressed like that I knew it would be the end of everything I'd worked so hard for. So I came up with some cock and bull story about me dressing up as a girl bunny to throw Elmer and Yosemite of my trail.

I didn't know if Porkie would buy it, but Porkie, God bless him, was as gullible as they came. If it had been Foghorn, though..."

After he told Porky about his 'story idea' Bugs then had to go to the producers and writers with it to keep up the charade.

"When I told them, no one said anything for a few seconds. I was sure they were going to fire me, but they were thrilled. They thought it was a great idea. I guess the rest is cartoon history."

At first it was hard for Bugs to put on his skirt and heels and have everyone see him.

"It was something I'd done in private for so long that having other people see me that way felt wrong somehow. Even when it was getting laughs. It was really hard for me."

When Bugs was asked what had led him to this point, the point where he could finally admit that he liked wearing women's clothing, he took a determined bite of his carrot and gave the press a steely stare.

"I was sick of living a lie. I've been in the industry for over seventy years. I've brought laughter to millions of people over those seven decades. If the fact that I'm more comfortable in a skirt than in pants negates all of that, then screw 'em.

"I've got my royalties from syndication. I'm without a doubt the richest woodland creature there is. I'm past caring about what people think of me. That's what's up, Doc."

With that Bugs thanked the press and said, "That's all folks!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
