Newark - Famous famous-person, Rosie O'Donnell has announced that she will publicly shave her legs at Coney Island on the fourth of July 2009. Rosie says this promises to be a big event as she has not bothered to shave her gams since cell phones were last the size of a brick.
Rosie has hired a team of Portuguese gardeners from the Azores, skilled in the use of machetes, to tackle the job.
This will be his first time in America for foreman Pedro Soares and his crew. He is confident that they are up to the task and has already planned out the project which he says will be done using "American high-techniques and power tools."
"It's a big job. We plan on wearing safety harnesses and reflective vests. The men are not used to wearing them and it will slow us down but the important thing is to make sure that nobody gets hurt."
When asked whether or not work will extend to Rosie's nether regions Soares felt his crew could take it on as well, especially considering they would already be mobilized.
He believes that Rosie has been in discussions with some lumberjacks from Canada to do the job instead.
