Singer and actress, Kylie Minogue, is yet again not in the top 40 today.
Celebrating this achievement, Miss Minogue said: 'It can be hard work, you know, never really being in the top 40, but acting like I am. Pass me another Foster's, mate.'
Friend and fellow Australian, Jason Donovan, said: 'I wish I'd been out of the top 40 as many times as Kylie has. Oh, I have.'
Speaking from the grave, former INXS front man, Michael Hutchence, said :'We were never in the top 40, luckily, it's always full of Mr. Blobbys and Bob the Builders and Jason Blunts and The Smurfs.'
Kylie is famous for appearing in some soap opera, that nobody remembers, as 'girl next door' Boomeranga Castlemaine, along with Jason Donovan, who played neighbour Con Vic Colony. But her fame is such that she can stay out of the top 40, and even get interviewed about it.
Her final words on today's celebrations were: 'Does my bum look big in this?' The answer, of course, being no.
