Bush said in a press interview this morning that the two biggest threats to the US are Al Quaeda in Iraq, a totally fabricated enemy, and Iran who haven't attacked any one in 400 years. Therefore we can cut the defense budget by 95%.
This would be a disaster for Haliburton.
"We need something far more scary in future and Dick will come up with something soon," explained Bush. "We are thinking about giant spiders invading Utah.
"Somebody once said that people are scared of the dark, maybe we should blame the sun and class darkness as a terrorist organisation. I think a news blackout will be a good idea, then people can just imagine our propaganda in the dark."
Commentators have tagged the remarks as 'weird'.
