Always one to sink his teeth into unsavoury matters, German celebrity, Schnappi 'das kleine Krokodil' or if you prefer, Schnappi, the little crocodile, has added his voice to the chorus of those calling for the resignation of Max Mosley, head of the FIA.
Although Schnappi has no connections to the motoring world, he felt it appropriate to voice his opinion, given the fact that firstly he, like Mosley, is a celebrity and role model for millions of fans and secondly because of his German background.
Schnappi's official statement was released last night. In it he sympathizes with Mr. Mosley's prediliction for bondage apparel and role playing scenarios but believes that such activities should only be performed within the confines of a room ensconced in rubber and in the presence of a qualified member of the field of psychiatry.
As Schnappi so succinctly put it, "Sometimes, in the course of daily living, one just has to recognize when one's bit off more than one can chew."
