Horton, the famous elephant who heard a Who, has been diagnosed with Schizophrenia.

An unnamed source reported the pachyderm had been seen ambling around Hollywood movie lots talking to himself, indiscriminately crushing cars and harassing people on the street.

He was finally committed to Los Angeles County Hospital after police found him dishevelled and tossing garbage dumpsters.

According to the same unnamed source, Horton was diagnosed in LA County with classic symptoms of Schizophrenia--hearing voices no one else can hear, psychotic mood episodes and delusions of grandeur.

He is currently on Zyprexa and will appear in court later this month on charges of vandalism and vagrancy.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
